TEETH WHITENING (Bleaching)

Bleaching is the most commonly prescribed cosmetic dental procedure. While many whitening options are now available dentist-supervised treatments remain the recommended procedure for lightening discolored teeth.

Teeth Whitening procedures are done to lighten the colour of the teeth without crowns/ veneers. Treatment procedure duration is about one hour. The patient is given a take-home bleach tray and bleach kit, so as to use it at bedtime or as and when required. This takes care of the lightened/bleached teeth for at least 2-4 yrs.

Powered toothbrushes don’t clean teeth any better than regular toothbrushes. Select a toothbrush head size that can easily fit into the mouth and can brush one to two teeth at a time (the general size is 1” long and ½” wide).
